Reflect
on our first look at our new book for the month of June “The Curious Incident
of the Dog in the Nigh Time.” Read the quote below from the main character,
Christopher, and complete one of the levels below.
When I was little I didn't understand about
other people having minds. And Julie said to Mother and Father that I would
always find this very difficult. But I don't find this difficult now. Because I
decided that it was a kind of puzzle, and if something is a puzzle there is
always a way of solving it. (163.8)
Level 1: Put the above quote into your own words.
Level 2: Put the above quote into your own words. What does the quote
tell you about Christopher.
Level 3: Put the above quote into your own words. Why is it important to
understand other people having minds of their own.
