Read the quote from our new book “Hot Zone” and complete one of the levels listed below.
All of the earth's cities are connected by a web of airline routes. The web is a network. Once a virus hits the net, it can shoot anywhere in a day - Paris, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, wherever planes fly.
Level 1: Paraphrase (Put the quote into your own words.)
Level 2: Explain the meaning of the quote in a full sentence.
Level 3: Explain the meaning of the quote and give an example from a current event to support your explanation.
