Read the below passage from “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” that we read in class as a connection to our study of how memory affects our identity. Please complete ONE of the levels below.

***If you are unsure of which level to complete, begin with Level 1 and continue to level 2 and 3 if you are able to successfully complete each level.

My Mom was sitting in her usual place on the opposite side of the court from my Dad. Funny how they did that. Mom always said that Dad made her too nervous; Dad always said that Mom made him too nervous.
Penelope was screaming like crazy, too. I waved at her; she blew me a kiss.
Then the evil Wellpinit five came running out of the visitors’ locker room. Man, you never heard such booing. You want to know what it sounded like?

It sounded like this:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

We couldn’t even hear each other. I worried that all of us were going to have permanent hearing damage.
I kept glancing over at Wellpinit as they ran their drills. And I noticed Rowdy kept glancing over us.
At me.
