ART HOMEWORK

Reflect on our sequencing activity from class today. Your comic strips came out wonderfully! GREAT JOB! For homework, complete one of the levels below.
Level 1: Choose three of main events below and put them in order.
Level 2: Choose five of the main events below and put them in order.
Level 3: Put the main events in order of when they happened.
  • Ponyboy is jumped by 5 Socs and is rescued by the gang of Greasers.
  • Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally meet Marcia and Cherry at a drive-in movie. Ponyboy told Cherry how Johnny had been jumped by the Socs.
  • Marcia and Cherry leave with Greasers, but on the way home they run into Socs. Marcia and Cherry end up getting into their car. Ponyboy was late coming home and Darry hits him. Ponyboy and Johnny run off to the park, to cool of Ponyboy.
  • Johnny and Ponyboy get jumped by the same Socs that jumped Johnny and Johnny ends up killing a Soc named Bob, because they were drowning Ponyboy. The boys go to Dally for help and run off to the country for safety.
  • Johnny and Ponyboy cut their hair to disguise themselves. The boys spend 5 days at the church waiting for a sign. Dally shows up and has a letter from Soda. Cherry is a spy for the Greasers and there is a war going on between Socs and Greasers.
  • Johnny plans to turn himself in. Theres a fire at the church and the boys save kids who are trapped inside. The Greasers are declared heroes and Ponyboy is reunited with his brothers.
  • Ponyboy has a in-depth conversation with Randy, a Soc. Ponyboy confirms his thinking that Socs have problems and things are rough all over.
  • The boys visit Dally and Johnny in the hospital. Johnny may not live but has the will to. The rumble is coming and Cherrry gives them the rules.
  • The Socs and the Greasers rumble and the Greasers win. Johnny dies from his injuries from the fire.
  • Dallas robs a store and calls for help. The boys go to hide him, but he is shot by the police and killed.
  • Ponyboy is recovering from his concusion. He is delirious and believes he is to blame for Bobs death.
  • The Curtis boys get to stay together. Ponyboy is asigned a theme for school and chooses to share his journey as a novel The Outsiders.
